I was at Walgreens tonight picking up a few things and there was a line there . about 4 people ahead of me.. As I was waiting in line the guy in the front of the line bought 3 cartons of cigs.. I though how rich he must be to be able to afford them.. then woosh out of the blue he grabs the three cartons and off he took out the door with out paying for them..
I was in total amazement .. they didn’t catch him but I’m sure they will .. how bold he was to do that with so many people around .. Not one of us ran after him.. well the guy behind him was a older gentleman and the lady behind him and infront of me had her foot in a cast and then there was me .. hmm ya I’m running after this guy no… dont think so if he had the guts to steal like that who’s to say he didnt have a gun or anything also .. so not chasing this guy for me ..
I just cant get over the guts this guy had to do that .. I have never seen that before in my life and at 56 years old I was in shock..
Well its on him not me he will have to live with what he did .. I’m sure he took them to sell for drugs or something with todays economy who knows.

I was thinking if I had my own house with a patio , that I would buy one of these fire pits so we could all sit around it at night and cook marshmallows and make smores , I think that would be a bunch of fun.. as long as its not one of them raining cold nights.
I love having my family around and so want a bigger place so we can spend more time together .. with the economy the way its going I dont know if that will happen.. or maybe it will .. There might come a time that we will all have to move in together to help each other out , I think thats what its going to be coming to..
Hopefully things will pick up and we wont have to but I love having my family around and wish that we could spend more time together .. its just that all of us really dont have a house big enough to all fit. Well my one daughter does and we mostly have holidays at her house with is allot of fun..

With being without a Job

Being without a job right now is a little trying I really thought I wouldn’t like it and I don’t .. I absolutely dislike it a whole bunch.. I do not see how anyone can not work and depend on getting unemployment really unless they have money put back which I don’t because we live from paycheck to paycheck .. we don’t have a life savings ..
So I think that I will be out soon looking for a job which I have been but need to look a little harder .. with winter coming up .. the only thing that I’m not to fond of is the employment screening its not that I have a bad background .. heck I worked for 9 years at the same place its just I don’t know .. but I guess its for the best I wouldn’t want to work for someone and have someone with a bad background working along side of me.
So hopefully I will find a job and get a paycheck every week.. I just don’t like depending on waiting for a check.

Boy I swear that when it rains it pours and if its one thing it another .. first my unemployment being delayed and bills being put off , but then there are my children and rays of hope..
My oldest daughter called me today and said mom if you need someplace to do your laundry you more then welcome to come here and do it to help save me some money .. that i thought was so sweet of her.. She always brightens my day.. My twins being it was there birthday today both said dont worry about getting us anything we got all we need .. that helped also .. its just that i feel so bad about it .. but I did get them both a cute card..

Winter is coming..

With winter coming I was thinking well no getting out to do any exorcise and my mom has a treadmill but I live upstairs and that would be a annoying noise for the lady downstairs to listen to as it makes a bit of a noise, But while surfing online I seen these ellipticals and I thought that I would make less noise.
I must get into shape during winter as I tend to hibernate .. and eat.. So I need something to help with the weight.
They say that exercising improves your winter depression too. Wish me luck.

Happy Birthday Dusty and Stacey .. they are the big 31 this year although things are really scarce right now with me losing my job and now my unemployment is delayed for another two weeks so , I could only afford to get them a card for there birthdays i really feel bad about it because I havent missed a year but with times being so rough right now I just cant.
I called both of them and told them of my dilemma because of the letter I got today from unemployment stating it would be delayed for two more weeks .. I have never been in this type of situation before always had money to pay my bills and now a month with no money its been rough ..
Needless to say there is nothing I can do about it .. bills will have to wait and this puts me way behind with them but as I can see it there is nothing I can do .. the whole thing was because of my vacation pay that put me behind. oh well its not the end of the world and that I will be ok.. My mom says so and so does my brother he said everything will work out .. I’m just not use to being without money well what little I had..

Thinking about getting.

I was thinking about getting a bigger place to live this one is getting to small lol. you can never have enough room , We now have just a couch in the front room its all it could hold right now well with the end tables and china cabinet and a sofa table and a big 32 inch flat screen tv . I was thinking of getting home theater furniture being thats its just the two of us , I think it would be perfect.
Maybe one that just has two recliners on it . although we do have the kids come over so maybe three would work better.. who knows if we get a bigger place we can go all out and get one that has four with it ..
But we will have to wait and see for now.. hope you all are having a great friday..

Well its Friday its been aprox 2 weeks since my last day of work .. I know your all getting tired of hearing about it .. but I’m starting to feel better now after being sick for so long another thing your probally tired of hearing about but now that I’m feeling better I am just plain getting bored..
I have things to do but don’t have the energy to do them or the want to do them .. I got a new knitting machine well new to me its more updated that the first one I got and has a few more bells and whistles on it , but still learning how to work it , thank goodness for my friend Susan in England for all her help without her I would be still lost.. I have played with it and want to make a few things on it but the thing of it is it takes 24 stitch punch cards of which i don’t have and have ordered since I got it , Susan is even sending me some pre punch cards .. now if I can figure out the settings on this thing to us them with lol..
I could be baking but when I start to do that I think being a diabetic I need to make that sugar free because I will EAT IT if its not lol.. so been working on some recipes to make .. I could clean but thats what I have been doing , I could get organized but then that takes work lol.. I swear all the things that I said I could do now that I’m not working I don’t have the incentive to do it ..
I need a kick start lol.. Maybe today I will get out there and bake something since its a chilly 47 degrees out there.. And I think thru the summer when we got all that rain and our basement flooded that now the furnace dont work.. Hope they get it turned on and working soon..
Well got to hop in the shower and get dressed and do something even if its wrong.. lol

Wanting to travel

Now that I have not been working I was thinking about maybe saving up and doing some traveling.. I have always wanted to go to England or Belgian, but you need a passport to go to these places , my neighbor that lives downstairs went to Canada and one time I was at the post office and she was down there getting her passport , its allot of work to get one and the cost is allot but I came across this site on the internet were you can get your passport seems you can do it all online.
My Friend Werner and his wife Meghan have theres and use them allot as his family lives in Belgian and they go see his family sometimes twice a year..
I think it would be exiting to go to a far away land to see new things.. Life is way to short not to use it as much as you can to see as much as you can .. Enjoy life while you can.

Looking for a gift for Hubby

I was wondering what to get Hubby for Christmas he does alot of work on putting up gutters and he is always having to charge his drills , well I came across this site that has lots of air tools which I think will make him happy and life a little easier for him , so many to chose from , when he gets home tonight I will show him this site so he can drool over all these toys.
Then maybe I wont have all these chargers setting around the house. I have one of them husbands that is a jack of all trades but a master of none lol.. he can do it all but really never just sticks with one thing or another .. oh he gets things finished but in his own time.
Well got to stop now and do a little more cleaning or maybe cooking or maybe knitting.
