My Yesterdays

I had a nice time with my oldest daughter today , we went to a few craft stores and did allot of looking around , I love doing that . when you do the same thing day out and day in you need a change and my daughter Christy always makes sure I have a good time when I'm with her. She really is so smart at doing peoples taxes to thats something that I have never gotten the hang of, give me a computer and I can figure out just about anything but taxes nope not for me. Later...

This is my Granddaughter Kailei Shaey at age 3 saying The Pledge of Allegiance it is the cutest thing I have ever heard. Listen very close when she says states, it shoulds like she is saying Steaks lol. So cute Hope you enjoy the video. Later

I have been not only sick but am starting to feel a bit better but I have been busy knitting on my usm and here are a few things that i have knitted.. the first projects that I have been doing is knitting pillows for my grandbabies I have only done fifth but have two more to to finish.. also while taking a rest on the fifth pillow , I was looking at my poor computer chair .. I have had it for over 10 years my son got it for me and the seat has worn down very bad , I was thinking of taking it in and having it recovered because all in all its in very good shape very sturdy and its so hard to part with something that is still in good condition.. I tried other computer chairs out at the stores but they were not as comfortable to me .. so here is what I did ..

With Kelcee's I put her name in the middle boy that was a trip was very hard to do and although I like it I needed some way for it to stand out more.

Well like I said I have been feeling better but still not the best .. I really havent had much time to relax seems its one thing after the other lol.

Not only was it my anniversary but it was a good day, I got up and went to my daughter Christy's house she is a god sent, she lets me take my laundry over there saving me money with my job no longer after this week I need to save every penny I have.. Yep I have been or known my hubby since 1969, we got married shortly after that in 1972 Sept 30.. so we have been together for a long time.. oh and when I got up there they were my fresh water pearl earrings .. They are just beautiful .. I had to work today and it was a good day easy , thank goodness.. the last three days of my job are going to drag on and on.. but that gives me more time to visit with my co-workers.. back to today.. once I got my freshwater pearls I couldnt wait to put them on.. so here I am in all my glory showing them off . And asking my Daughter to come get her some new fresh water pearls .. lol. Enjoy the video. Later.

Ok its been a few weeks since the storm we had and I know its a big area but the trees are all still laying all over the sides of the roads, I'm only glad that no one got hurt really bad and it was the trees that got the most of the damage, While we was over at my Daughters house this weekend the back yard still is a mess we put up gutters for them as that is what my husband does .. and it sure does look good .. they are hunter green to match there roof, now they have to get out in the back yarn and cut up the poor swing set that was totally broke in half and then there is the question of which fence installation to choose from . As it too was bent from that big tree that feel in there back yard., There are so many pretty ones to choose from but its not my fence is my daughters and hubby's and they get the fun of doing that.

I have been playing again with my ISM Knitting Machine , I have made socks , a sweater and a hat . Most of my stuff was been just practice and I finally made my curtains these are a small set that I hang in front of my stand to hide all the stuff I have on the shelves. It took me a few days to do them I have been busy well actually i started them on Saturday night then worked on the second side yesterday but then half way through I had to rip it all out was not working out right .. So what I thought was a 66 stitch cast on was really 65 lol..

Other than that we just have been hanging out .. Been shopping with mom we always spend way to much money when we go out .. but its fun ..

Well got to go take a shower get the dog out and get dressed .. well not in that order lol..

Oh my I'm so tired of winter.. seems like this one is dragging on more that usual.. I try to find beauty in something about it everyday .. last night while taking the dog out to potty I looked at the snow on the steps and it look like beautiful sparkly diamonds that glistened on the ground .. I drive down the street and look up in the trees and I comment to my husband how beautiful they look after about a week he does point out to me .. look Toni these are beautiful arent they and if anyone knows my hubby he's not the pointing out kind maybe I can just teach him a thing or two about finding beauty in this cold cold weather here.. Well I'm at work and need to get back to it .. might post or add to this comment later today..
