My Yesterdays

I was thinking its never to early to order Christmas cards because you can get them and get them all made out and ready way before Christmas and you just never know what tomorrow will bring . I was thinking of getting pictures of me and hubby with the two dogs and adding them to the Christmas cards I think that would be a neat idea. I have seen them on other Christmas cards I have received in the past. So if you get a Christmas card with me and hubby and my dogs don't be surprised.

I have been making cakes as you well know , and I even entered a cake contest. I'm sure I will not win but it was fun making the cake for the contest and the more I make them the better I get , I love learning new things . I think what I'm going to do though is to make my cakes ahead of time and then freeze them so I can just decorate them and practice because making the cakes and decorating them all in one day is a trip. so wish me luck , from what I have seen from the contest place the people there make beautiful cakes being just a beginner I will surely will have to step up my work lol. But its good experience. Later..

Ya know I have gotten a new netbook awhile ago I think just after Christmas and I really love it , but it seems to be slowing down and am wondering if I need to check into getting some system memory for it and see if that will speed it up. I was thinking of getting a new touch screen computer but that didn't happen I kind of in between doing that or just sticking with what I have . I'm going to look into getting a external dvd/cd burner for the netbook because I cant put anything on this netbook unless I have one. Oh well need to just keep what I have and hang on to my money.

Well finally get to go somewhere get to go to chicago for the day , I really cant wait going tomorrow just for the day and then back home again.. We are going up there to visit Werner and Meghan. in a few weeks we are going to AZ to see my daughter can't wait for that but just this one day away vacation will help me reduce my stress for a bit. I have decided that I am going to start walking more , I so need the workout more and maybe try some weight loss products also and help me with help to curb my appetite and help me to lose the weight. Hubby did a good job of losing some weight but he had to do it by getting rid of all the excess water off of him. I'm so proud of him lost about 40 pounds. He is doing a really good job keeping it off to. I can't believe how much water you can keep in your body by eating to much salt. Well off to relax oh and tomorrow I have to go buy a scale to keep track of mine and hubby's weight I like the idea of know exactly what we weigh.

I so want a new Kitchen aid mixer there like 178.00 at walmart I'm so trying to decide were I should get it or not I so want it so I think I will get it lol... I did buy hubby a Ice Tea maker never had one I personally don't drink tea but tasted this and just might start drinking some of it instead of drinking so much pop. If I get my Kitchen aid mixer I will take a pic of it for you all .. I'm sure you all have seen them but I'm excited about getting mine. Later..

I have been learning as I go sure did take me a long time but I guess it take more people longer than others to learn some things. I have learned that to give natural weight loss products a try, all it can do it help me. Believe me I need all the help I can and want to go natural as possible. If I can just stop with the snacking all the time and now that I'm making cakes hmm you just got to taste the butter cream frosting to make sure it taste the best.

I think that with all the stress that my new stress relief is making cakes I love it .  Making and decorating them with fondant and making animals and angels. Learning how to make roses will  be a big goal of mine love trying to make a big rose lol.. I have made a few cakes I want you to see one was for my Mother - in - law the other was a actual cake that was ordered and sold yea my first sold cake.. it had little puppies on them I had so much fun making them was thinking of starting a little home business if I can get it started and if I can make some money at home doing what I love. ok now on to the pictures. so what you think first one is covered with fondant and the second one is buttercream covered the doggies are made with fondant and sugar paste made them myself. first one is made all the daisy's and angel. I swear I so need some best anti wrinkle eye cream from all the stress I have been though and all the stress I still am going though I so need something that will help smooth away some of the many wrinkles that I have from the past 9 months. I don't believe that it will totally take away my many wrinkles but I'm sure it will help fade or hide them somewhat. At age 58 I guess I should of taken better care of myself 20 years ago. I am always going to be a care giver that's what I was born to be some people are just born to be that way. Now that I have finally found out what I am here for I have excepted it and just go with the flow, going to just take it easy for a bit though and start taking care of me now.

I have my grand babies all summer long had them last year too. I don't mind having them but this summer has been so different , We have been so busy with the hubby being sick and his heart and all the doctors and test it really is rough having them its not fair for them either they don't get to enjoy there summer either. I am hoping that my daughter can find a place or baby sitter for them for at least a week as I so want to go on vacation. I'm so ready to be relieved of all of my stress of all that has happened over the past 9 months yep been 9 months since my mom passed away and all the crap that took place since then . I so need to just relax and take time for me. Later..
