My Yesterdays

Today was a long day , Mom had to be at the doc's at 12.30 today and we left a little early to get something to eat and then head off to the doc's .. we get there at 12.30 of not a little bit earlier but had to wait to get her blood drawn .. then had to come back in a hour when the test results came back to make sure she was up to having chemo today . they wanted to make sure her blood count was good and fortunately it was. After her chemo which we got out of there around 4 p.m we went to Farm and Fleet to get her plants , that is what she wanted for Mothers day .. so thats what I got her. she got some pretty plants thanks to my Oldest daughter Christy she helped her Grandma pick them out .. I guess I might have to plant them i'm not much of a plant person .. kind of scared to do it I usually kill them lol.. Later..

This summer I so want to go on a vacation, once my Mom gets over her chemo and all the test come back great because I just know she will beat this thing again the third time is a charm.. anyway I want to go to someplace new and interesting .. I have been all over the United states and want to visit someplace new . Besides the same places I have been to I want to go someplace new and exciting , So after much consideration and checking out different places online I think I have found a place Outer Banks rentals so I can get that vacation spot I have been looking for . Life is way to short to not to enjoy life.

I just wanted you to know a little update on how I'm doing on the E cig , for those of you who do not know what that is its a electric or battery operated cigarette, it emits no smoke just vapor , it only contains low dosage of nicotine in it , I have actually had it a few weeks and don't know why but had a smoke of a real cig here and there and at those times did not like it at all .. so by all intenseness's purpose I have quit regular cigs, did you know in a regular cig there is over 500 horrible things in them, like tar and all kinds of poisons, so I'm just going to be vaping now , there is no smell what looks to be smoke coming out is actually a mist , there is no odor you can smoke or vape them anywhere. I actually to be honest with you can breath a whole lot better.. will keep updating as the trial goes on.. oh I did order a good one an e cig that is .. well at least I hope it is a good one.. through trial and error hopefully I have found the one I like.. anyway I would highly recommend this e cig to anyone out there not just to quit the smoking but just give it a try for your health.. I just wished I would of done this a long time ago. Later

Well actually when I was a little girl my Mom always wanted me to play the piano, one reason I didn't play was because we didn't have one , the second reason was that we couldn't afford it as money and time was spent on more important things like food, schooling etc. I did go to a catholic school and always had what I needed I was never into keeping up with the rest of the kids with there fashions as in a catholic school we all wore uniforms . I did take music in school well choirs and sang and loved it .. I was truly amazed at how the teacher could play piano and sing at the same time . I was hoping that one of my grandkids would take up a musical instrument  and be  musical , although I have to say my daughters boyfriends son plays in the schools marching band and is very very good at it. So much for my musical skills.

Well I have some bad news but am very positive about it .. My Mom had some spots on her lungs show up and she has to go back on Chemo, we have been busy going to the docs and to get her pick line in. which was a trip in itself. I honestly dont know how my Mom does it .. to me is has to be the strongest person alive.. I have faith in God and in her Doctor that she will once again pull through this again they say the third time is a Charm. And I'm so sure it will be, I will be moving in with her again as I want to make sure there is someone there to be with her. She seems to be in good spirits and has a positive attitude I think that is mostly in part because of her doctor he has this way about him , he don't give up .. Thank you.. Doc. So I will be back at her house before Monday her first Chemo day.. she does it every monday for two weeks and then is off a week she is also getting some other treatments just cant remember the name of them at this time. My internet will be hooked up on monday also can't go without it .. keeps me going.. I'm also doing good on the E cig thing down to like 3 or 4 regular cigs a day.. hopefully will be able to quit all together.. Mom as totally quit smoking and has been for over a month .. she is doing so good. I got her a E cig also to help with her patches she loves it. I wont be smoking anything in her house while I'm there .. they said it will probably take like 3 months or so with this chemo and then they will test her again to see if anything is getting smaller .. the problem is that they can not do a biopsy of them because her lungs are so bad , they said she could end up on a breathing machine or dead and we sure don't want that. So will update when I can .. Looks like a new adventure in my Life.. I love new adventures don't you? Later
