My Yesterdays

Well its Friday its been aprox 2 weeks since my last day of work .. I know your all getting tired of hearing about it .. but I'm starting to feel better now after being sick for so long another thing your probally tired of hearing about but now that I'm feeling better I am just plain getting bored.. I have things to do but don't have the energy to do them or the want to do them .. I got a new knitting machine well new to me its more updated that the first one I got and has a few more bells and whistles on it , but still learning how to work it , thank goodness for my friend Susan in England for all her help without her I would be still lost.. I have played with it and want to make a few things on it but the thing of it is it takes 24 stitch punch cards of which i don't have and have ordered since I got it , Susan is even sending me some pre punch cards .. now if I can figure out the settings on this thing to us them with lol.. I could be baking but when I start to do that I think being a diabetic I need to make that sugar free because I will EAT IT if its not lol.. so been working on some recipes to make .. I could clean but thats what I have been doing , I could get organized but then that takes work lol.. I swear all the things that I said I could do now that I'm not working I don't have the incentive to do it .. I need a kick start lol.. Maybe today I will get out there and bake something since its a chilly 47 degrees out there.. And I think thru the summer when we got all that rain and our basement flooded that now the furnace dont work.. Hope they get it turned on and working soon.. Well got to hop in the shower and get dressed and do something even if its wrong.. lol Later gator..

Now that I have not been working I was thinking about maybe saving up and doing some traveling.. I have always wanted to go to England or Belgian, but you need a passport to go to these places , my neighbor that lives downstairs went to Canada and one time I was at the post office and she was down there getting her passport , its allot of work to get one and the cost is allot but I came across this site on the internet were you can get your passport seems you can do it all online. My Friend Werner and his wife Meghan have theres and use them allot as his family lives in Belgian and they go see his family sometimes twice a year.. I think it would be exiting to go to a far away land to see new things.. Life is way to short not to use it as much as you can to see as much as you can .. Enjoy life while you can. later

I was wondering what to get Hubby for Christmas he does alot of work on putting up gutters and he is always having to charge his drills , well I came across this site that has lots of air tools which I think will make him happy and life a little easier for him , so many to chose from , when he gets home tonight I will show him this site so he can drool over all these toys. Then maybe I wont have all these chargers setting around the house.  I have one of them husbands that is a jack of all trades but a master of none lol.. he can do it all but really never just sticks with one thing or another .. oh he gets things finished but in his own time. Well got to stop now and do a little more cleaning or maybe cooking or maybe knitting.

I have been thinking about gifts for Christmas .. and I seem to give the same old thing for the older kids which I have 4 I usually give them a gift card and they just get what they want .. but was wanting to come up with new ideas for this year.. I was again surfing the internet looking for new and different gifts to give .. My daughter Dusty gave her dad a fruit basket for his birthday in Sept and it was a big hit.. i was thinking of doing something like that with my kids for Christmas , so while surfing the net I came across this site that has reasonable gift baskets and carry all kinds. They have them from everything to baby to birthdays .. will definitely check these babies out when start my Christmas shopping..

With the holidays coming , I can't wait to start baking .. I love to bake and with me being a diabetic I can substitute spenda for some of the cookies and cakes and fudge.. Not only did my daughter get me book for diabetic cookies but I also have been searching the internet looking for some new recipes for cookies.. This year since I'm not working I can take more time and make more cookies .. While searching on the net I came across these cookie recipes and they are so cute, I need to get some cookie cutters also to make the different designs like the santa's and star's . This is will be the best holiday's ever.

Well the process of cleaning more now that I'm off of work has became more intense , I want to make sure that everything is in its place and that things are clean and disinfected, after this cold we have had for the past few weeks I want to get rid of all of the germs .. I have a shampooer but want something that will clean and cut down on the allergies also .. I was surfing the net today and came across one of these Ladybug steam cleaners which looks pretty interesting .. might give one a try . I do have a problem of shampooing allot , my mom says you shampoo to much . the lady down stairs from me has been there probably 4 or five years and never shampooed her carpet but they look good to me she does vacuum allot .  me I have a dog and a husband that don't take off his shoes we have beige carpeting so it shows every paw print lol.. well got to get going must get some things done .. Sitting all day on the computer wont clean my house ..

Finally I'm feeling much better still have a bit of a cough but that will leave in time im sure of it .. Now I have to start looking into eating right .. Being home has some downfalls and some good things too.. the downfalls are that I have a problem with just eating what ever I want .. to much time on my hands to easy to just grabbing whatever lol. the good things are that I have more time to do some things i want to do .. Like knitting on my knitting machine cleaning the house , more .. when im not knitting. lol.. and cooking .. something that I really didnt do a lot of because of working nights . hubby is loving it a meal at night.. I do have to say I might need some diet pills that work because I need something to curve my eating.. I have been taking more pictures also and have had my grand babies more too.. which is a good thing .. Oh and guess what I actually get to see my favorite show Kitchen Nightmares love that show lol. among other shows.. Later.

I miss it .. this tells you how long ago this view was taken.. I got this site from Susan go visit her site and see were she lives in England. its so amazing.. So here is my place. Well got to go .. my knitting machine should be here tomorrow I cant wait, till it get here tomorrow.. I will take pictures of my machine when it arrives I sure hope it gets here in one piece thats the problem with getting a knitting machine .. you never know what your going to get .. its like that saying its like a box of chocolates you never know what your going to get till you open it up. lol Later

Ok I'm feeling better but don't want to jinx's it , I'm starting to get back to my self again .. pretty soon I will be back to my old self again .. did it just say that? lol. anyway .. i'm still coughing but not as much .. I have also learned that you dont eat cereal just before you go to bed because if you start coughing it will come back up .. not to gross you out.. I am so waiting for my new knitting machine to get here.. I cant wait it should be here on the 15th.. ya one more day .. Its seems funny that to be home at night now. not use to it .. Whats really weird is that when I am at home i get so bored and when I have someone here one of the grandkids im not .. I have been having them allot and it sometimes seems to much but I feel blessed when i do.. I still have mixed emotions about being off of work after 9 years .. I know I keep saying it but its true.. I think I'm lost more so because im feeling better .. before when i was really sick I really didnt care or think about it .. hmmmm Well I guess I better get to bed you just never know what tomorrow will bring.. hmmm I think I will have a apple .. dipped in sugar free chocolate.. I have been not only sick but am starting to feel a bit better but I have been busy knitting on my usm and here are a few things that i have knitted.. the first projects that I have been doing is knitting pillows for my grandbabies I have only done fifth but have two more to to finish.. also while taking a rest on the fifth pillow , I was looking at my poor computer chair .. I have had it for over 10 years my son got it for me and the seat has worn down very bad , I was thinking of taking it in and having it recovered because all in all its in very good shape very sturdy and its so hard to part with something that is still in good condition.. I tried other computer chairs out at the stores but they were not as comfortable to me .. so here is what I did ..

With Kelcee's I put her name in the middle boy that was a trip was very hard to do and although I like it I needed some way for it to stand out more.

Well like I said I have been feeling better but still not the best .. I really havent had much time to relax seems its one thing after the other lol.
