My Yesterdays

I guess I shouldnt complain but two days without power is enough .. and again I should not complain , there are lots of us out there and I'm just one of 178,000 of us .. there are people that need there power for medical reasons one of them is my Mom she has no power either .. from what I hear it might be two more days or might be sooner dont know , All I know is them power people are working so hard to get us all up and running . All hotel rooms are booked .. but last night hubby found one for tonight if we still dont have any power.. I want my mom to come with at least to get her in a cool place.. my whole family except one of my daughters does not have power.. I just am hoping that my Mom gets her;s back before I do or any of the family she needs it the most. I took her out today to get her some lunch and get her in a cool place and to take her to Target to get a battery operated radio.. so she could at least listen to something.. She sure does miss her tv though..she was actually looking for a battery powered one.. I'm so grateful to have a job were there is air.. and internet.. thats how im posting this now, I did get out and took alot of pictures of the aftermath of over 100 mile an hour winds that tore through the quad cities all of which time I slept right through it .. It went through our area at 6 am.. took only 10 or 15 minutes and then it was over .. it looks like a disaster area here ,, really .. bad there are trees and lines down everywhere.. I will post pictures once I get my electricity back on. Mariah our dog is down at my moms now only because her basement is cool and its finished basement and she would stay cooler there. Were picking her up tonight along hopefully with my mom and going to the hotel. Well better get back to work .. Later..
