My Yesterdays

Ok lets start from the very begining. I have been waiting for this modem I bought from ebay.. took like a week to get it but it finally got here.  On Saturday.. I hooked it up and then , I was not getting a internet light .. So I call ATT.. I got a lady by the name of Liz, she was nice enough but she said that my modem shows that it was not working . Hmmm lets see it recognized my modem and the light was green ok wait I know allot about dsl , dialup and wireless install thats what I do for a living . So I run some test on my own and it comes up that the modem is good and that its not getting a IP address. So I call them back and get a lady by the name of Lisa . just to let you know both of the ladys I think was from Japan or somewhere in that location.. I really had a hard time understanding them.. But i wanted to get this to work been without internet for more than a week it was driving me nuts.. I told her that my modem was fine but there is something wrong with the connection .. could she please help me .. she says that now it must be something wrong with the box outside or at the pole.. ok I say you mean the dmark? she says yes that is what that is called.....That should of been my first clue that I was talking to someone that didnt know what they were talking about.. but I pursue because I want this to work.. She finally says that it has to be the line outside.. and also tells me that if its not than they will charge me if they need to come in side and fix the line .. I say no way .. what the hell you guys talking about isent it your job to get this thing to work? she says mam you are being monitored .. I say fine get me someone that knows what they are talking about she gives to to someone else this lady I dont know this ones name says its in the line and not to worry we will get someone out there to morrow morning .. so I finally say ok . at this point im so stress about the whole thing I give up. And yet im not done yet with this story.. I say ok I will wait till the morning when they come to see if it works.. around 11 a.m. I finally I call ATT again .. this time they tell me that the line is working .. but I say its not in here.. Angel is her name says well did you register your computer yet with ATT .. hmm no I didnt no one ask.. she leads me through many screens and enter many things , Bamm the green internet light goes on.. Imagine that .. two days of frustrating calls and Angel was my savior I say to her why did no one ever ask me this through all this teching .. I ask to speak to her super and told him what a very good job she did ... and then ask him why on earth didnt someone tell me about getting this thing registered? he says Im sorry mam I dont know . One thing I have to say about ATT dsl it works and its fast enough for me but as far as most of there tech support they suck. See at my work were I do internet tech work , with wireless , dsl and dial up we work on the problem they are having till its fixed we just dont say well it must be your modem or the line. we make sure we do everything possible to make them work.. and suggest many many things . and if it still don't work we ask them to bring it in so we can make sure its not working and fix it for them. The thing of it is , that when I do teching at work we dont have registration online we a call it setting up there account .. how crazy is that . I should of known that this wouldnt of been that easy . but we all learn something new every day.. and today I learned to ask many  many questions .. and finally got my answer.. So the moral of this story is never give up never believe one person if you dont feel that its right .. keep asking more and more questions. So now I have my internet back and im happy .. We also went to my grandson's Logans birthday party had fun see a bunch of blue angels they were here this weekend . and had cake and ice cream well everyone else did as a diabetic it couldnt have any .. but did take a bite from hubbys cake.. yummy.. We came home cooked on the grill pork chops and had bush baked beans and we relaxed and now its time to go to bed. so night all .

Ok call me cheap ok.. I had my internet turned on on Weds right well I didnt want to sign a 1 year contract with ATT and so that meant that I would have to pay 77 for the modem well not me , I'm cheap I order a 2 wire modem from ebay first mistake because everytime you want something fast it dont come.. second mistake I only paid 25.99 for it and FREE shipping grrrrrrrrrrr.. ok left CA last tuesday via Fedex you would think? that it it would only take a few days right .. WRONG.. it wont get here till tomorrow on SAT.. ok so now its friday im still chopping on the bit waiting till tomorrow . ok once it comes then I wonder was I so cheap that this thing dosent work? what if.. then I will be forced into buying a modem and sending this one back. Ok I know im jumping the gun with this thing I havent even got it yet .. I still have to call ATT and get a username and password to hook this thing up and then it might not even work with ATT grrrrr.. if I just went with the contract I would of gotten my modem like 4 days ago .. but not me im CHEAP... sometimes that can come back and bite you in the a$$  .. So wish me luck tomorrow when and if it arrives at my house lol. Be my luck they will wait till like 5 pm to deliver it . or i could think of a million things that could happen,,.. some times I just dont think with a postive attitude . The reason I dont want to sign for a year is that here at work Wimax should be working by Sept .. and instead of paying 39.95  a month for internet I would only be paying like 19.95 .. again call me CHEAP..  oh what to do . I will post tomorrow if I get the modem and get it up and work otherwise guess I will have to wait till Monday when I get to work.. wish me luck.. I need all I can get now. Later..

Hi all I haven't had any internet since last Saturday so I haven't been online much just at work , Thank goodness I work tech the internet .. So I had to go to ATT and they wont have me turned on till next Weds so that means no internet again all weekend long. Its a enough to drive you nuts with no internet.  But they say patience and that im trying to have .. although tomorrow I will be going to my Daughters house for my Grandson's birthday party .. he will be 11 years old wow they grow up so fast .. So tomorrow I will be able to get online and check my email I still have ebay auctions up set to end I think on Sunday or Monday so I will have to check when I get to work on Monday .. Today is Friday the 13th you could of said it was last night .. the weather here was horrible and we had alot of damage .. our power went out around 11 p.m. last night and being upstairs it got pretty hot.. it didnt come back on till 4 a.m. gezzz And on top of that I didn't have my Zune charged to listen to the radio for long and my cell phone was not charged either oh after the power went out my Nintendo was not charged it gezz how prepared was I. Well I'm at work posting so i better just get going and do some work .. hope you all have a good day.

Oh my it came Saturday night yep you heard it night at aprox 5 p.m. I played and cleaned and play and cleaned it over and over testing swatches finding out what size yarn works well with it .. I have found that 3 ply is about it for this machine .. I have tryed so many things with it .. im so excited .. needless to say I have not gotten anything else done around the house except for the cooking dinner and dishes .. My laundry well its still there .. having the Blazer still being fixed i have no way to run to the store or do laundry unless i drive THE truck this truck is ok gets me to work .. but when i drive it , I can hardly see over the sterring wheel .. So I have been home all weekend waiting for someone to come take me away or this dang internet to stay on long enough for me to post grrrrrrrr.  Its been off most of the weekend and of course my Ebay items came to an end and people had questions for me

Boy I tell you when you want something bad and you wait and wait for it to be delivered and something that I ordered from England yes you hear England two days after the day I bought and paid for the Knitting machine that I have received the punch machine already and the punch cards which I ordered just three days ago gezzzzz , I'm so impatient this Knitting machine is coming from Oregon and its still not here I guess I should of paid the prioity shipping instead of the parcel post shipping.. I guess the extra 16.00 would of made me a bit happier , but to me this is just crazy .. its been 8 days since they said it was shipped and should of gotten here today grrrrrrr.. well I guess there is always tomorrow.. maybe its best then I have all weekend to play with it.. If it dont come tomorrow I guess I will be a little upset.. but there is nothing I can do about it.. Hubby keeps saying just tell them you dont want it , he is not into crafts and being excited about these things or should i say supportive I guess he just dont get it.. I have read out there are lots of Husbands that are very supportive of there wives crafts and actually go out and buy things for them to make them happy.. I guess I just got one that dont .. lol.. I keep looking down stairs thinking that maybe they didint bring it in but our postman is really nice and brings it in and actually brings it up on our first landing so that sweet of him. So its Friday and im getting ready to go to work then off for the weekend.. Later...

Hi I am still waiting for my knitting machine to come I'm beside myself with excitement cant wait for it to come , sad thing is my USM is sitting there looking at me saying how come you dont want to play with me anymore .. I guess I dont want to start something on it and and it not getting finished before I get the other one .. anyway I just joined a new group and I dont know how to get it on my side bar so I will just have to post it in this post for right now till I can figure it out. I spent the day with my oldest daughter Christy and then the other half with my Mother. Christy picked me up because my blazer is still not fixed she christy called me yesterday and ask me if I needed her .. how sweet .. she ask if i needed to get my laundry done , I said yes being that I dont have a washer and dryer here were I live . I do have one but its not being used by me there are no hook ups for one here we have been living for the past two years :( not happy so for weeks actually if your counting weeks 104 weeks I have either been taking them to the laundry mate or Christys, or Staceys or my Moms or my Son's my cloths have seen different washers and dryers in all these weeks so counting it up having to lug the cloths down from a upstairs apt to car , from car to who or were ever it gets done I have to be honest with you the best place that I have done my laundry is at my daughter Christys house her washer and dryer is assume it makes my cloths so soft and no wrinkles. Thank you Christy for asking me to come today.. Christy and her boyfriend was working on there yard so pretty they put a pump thing in the ground looks so pretty. Beautiful plants they planted yarn beautiful .. and cooked some chicken on the grill all was good today nice and relaxing .. The second half of my day was spent with my Mom she is one shopping person ... I mean really 2 or more hours in the grocerie store I do so love spending time with her, you never know what tomorrow will bring . Once our few hours at the store was over we stopped by her house so I could help her bring in her groceries and then she brought me home .. still hell being without a car.. So that was my day im tired but happy .. I also put up ebay auctions if you want to take a peek of what I have listed here is the link Ebay Listings I'm trying to sell some books and some knitting looms I have decieded that I havent used them in a long while and that I should not keep them and let them go to someone that will give them a good home.. this apt is not big enough for me to keep all kinds of crafts I have to just slow it down and not try to keep the big things .. I did win a Brother HK-800 off of ebay its my first metal knittng machine im so excited and cant wait to get it although its not the top of the line its going to be mine all mine .. It has a place for a punch cards to make different patterns but didnt come with patterns or a punch machine so i have had to order them extra also didnt get a manual for it so i had to buy that also . but I'm going to be well prepared when it comes I have read that manual three times now making sure I know just how to set it up.. and just as soon as I thought I was prepared I was told I might have to get a new sponge bar for it grrrrrr but we will see when the machine gets here.. come already lol. so I get to make my own patterns with the punch cards just hope I do it right they cost me 17.00 thats ofr 5 of them thats not including the punch which i havent won yet but is coming from the UK hoping it dont end up being 17 dollars also .. you all tired of hearing me complain? lol.. My son-in-law broght over Giordano's pizza from Chicago trip to a cubs game tonight to late to eat now but will sure to have some tomorrow .. cant wait.
