Who Am I ?
I guess it just didnt hit me till a few days ago.. I really never looked at my birth Certificate and really didn't have to have a need to till lately .. The reason for the Title of this post is .. I dont know who I'm.. First of all I was Adopted .. ok thats fine I can and have lived with that for 56 years .. but when I really looked at my birth certificate .. well here goes .. NO BIRTH WEIGHT, NO LENGTH, NO TIME OF BIRTH.. Sad huh .. It does not even have my Adopted Mom and Dad's name on it .. the whole thing consist of
My Adopted name and date of birth .. thats it and its signed by someone I have no idea who that person is.. and witness by someone..
So who am I? really I guess some people just take things like that for granted .. Do you know how much you weighed at birth? do you know how long you were at birth and what time you were born? I can go back 56 years on that date and probably find out what day of the week i was born on but whoopee..
So this is my whine for today its been bothering me for a few days now .
I guess I'm ME.. and thats all I have to say about that..
I know who you are, you are MY MOTHER whom I love so very much. I know you really want to know who you are but then again do you really? I don’t want to know your past, as it could mean change and I am not ready for that. Grandma will always be my Grandma, the persons who gave you up for adoption missed out on having a wonderful daughter and all the wonderful grandbabies you had. Its not your fault, but you should live each day to the fullest and enjoy each and every one of your babies. Its a treasure….trust me.
